Arizona requires managers, and the owners, agents, and officers who run a licensed business day to day, to complete Title 4 training at both the Basic and Management levels. This Learn2Serve course is the Management level for off-premises retailers such as liquor stores, convenience stores, and grocery stores. It is approved by the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.

Format and exam

The course is fully online and self-paced, and takes about two hours. Work through five short lessons, then pass the final exam with a score of 70 percent or better. You can print your certificate of completion as soon as you pass. Course access runs for 60 days from purchase.

Who needs Title 4 Management training in Arizona?

Managers must complete Title 4 training, along with liquor license owners, agents, partners, stockholders, and officers active in daily operations. Managers need both levels, and a Basic Title 4 certificate is a prerequisite for this course. Owners, agents, and managers must complete Management training before a liquor license is issued or a management agreement is approved.

The Learn2Serve Arizona Title 4 Management (Off-Premises) program runs five lessons: Introduction and Overview; Licensed Premises and Liquor Licenses; General Business Practices; Disorderly Conduct, Acts of Violence, and Intoxicated Customers; and Minors and Civil Liability. It ends with a final exam and a certificate of completion you can download the same day.
